In 2018, Đuro Đaković Montaža Izolak submitted a project titled „Strengthening the Competitiveness of Đuro Đaković Montaža Izolak (ĐĐMI) through the Implementation of an Investment Project for the Expansion and Renovation of Production Capacities and Employee Education” (hereinafter: the Project) to the public call of the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts „Construction and Equipping of SME Production Capacities.“ After signing the Grant Agreement within this call, ĐĐMI, as the beneficiary of funds from the European Regional Development Fund, began the implementation of the Project in March 2019.

The purpose of the Project is to strengthen the company's competitiveness, increase the number of employees, and grow sales and export revenue through investment focused on expanding and renovating production capacities and educating the Company's employees. The target group is the Company's employees, while the final beneficiaries are current and future customers, suppliers, associations to which the Company donates, and residents of Brodsko-posavska County. The completion of the Project is planned for September 2020.

Project Goals and Expected Outcomes:
The purpose (goal) of the Project is, through this investment, to strengthen the overall competitiveness of Đuro Đaković Montaža Izolak Company through the implementation of the Project for investment in the renewal of production capacities and employee training, i.e., by investing in the expansion of the capacities of the existing business unit, to position the Company in the global value chain by increasing production and sales revenue, and exports, and by creating new jobs, as well as by investing in the development of new competencies of the Company's human capital. By realizing the Project, the Beneficiary will achieve a prerequisite for strengthening the Company's competitiveness in the domestic and foreign markets, which will enable new employment, growth in sales revenue, and growth in export revenue.

Amount co-financed by EU grants (in HRK): HRK 1,289,138.93
