As part of the numerous events related to the session of the Council for Slavonia, Baranja, and Srijem, which was held today in our county and attended by Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, Minister of Regional Development and EU Funds Gabrijela Žalac, Minister of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts Darko Horvat, and numerous other government members and guests, a contract signing for the allocation of funds from EU funds was also held. Among the signatory companies was ĐĐ Montaža Izolak.

Đuro Đaković Montaža Izolak has for the first time applied for a project in the call for proposals for funding from European Structural and Investment Funds under the Competitiveness and Cohesion program.

This is about the “Construction and Equipping of SME Production Capacities” call for proposals, which aims to co-finance investments in SME capacities through initial investments in the construction and/or equipping of business units. The call for proposals aims to strengthen the regional competitiveness of SMEs through the development of identified strategic industrial activities. By promoting value-adding activities and effectively positioning small and medium-sized enterprises in global value chains, it will enable the development of new competencies, increased production, increased exports, and the creation of new jobs.

Director of ĐĐ Montaža Izolak, Mr. Krešimir Tomičić, had the honor, in the presence of Minister Horvat, to sign the first approved contract under this tender in the Republic of Croatia. This contract co-finances a project with €35% in grant funds, with a total value of 6 million kuna. These funds will be used to increase production capacities, equip, and develop human resources, thereby making the company more competitive on the EU market.

According to Mr. Tomičić, ĐĐ Montaža Izolak intends to continue participating in tenders of this type in order to further improve its position as one of the market leaders in its industry.
