Project Summary:<\/strong><\/p>

In 2018, \u0110uro \u0110akovi\u0107 Monta\u017ea Izolak Society responded to the Public Call by the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts titled \u201eConstruction and Equipping of SME Production Capacities\u201d with a project called \u201eStrengthening the Competitiveness of \u0110uro \u0110akovi\u0107 Monta\u017ea Izolak Society (\u0110\u0110MI) through the Implementation of the Investment Project for Expanding and Renovating Production Capacities and Employee Training\u201c (hereinafter: the Project). After signing the Grant Agreement within this Call, \u0110\u0110MI Society, as the Beneficiary of funds from the European Regional Development Fund, commenced the implementation of the Project in March 2019.<\/p>

The Project's purpose is to strengthen the competitiveness of the company, increase the number of employees, and grow sales revenue and exports. The target group is the Company's employees, while the end-users are current and future customers, suppliers, associations to which the Company donates, and residents of Brod-Posavina County. The Project was completed in September 2020.<\/p>

Project Goals and Expected Outcomes:<\/strong><\/p>

The Project's goal was to position the Company within the global value chain by increasing production and revenue from sales and exports, creating new jobs, and investing in the development of new competencies of the Company's human capital through investment in expanding the capacity of the existing business unit. Through the realization of the Project, the Beneficiary has achieved a prerequisite for strengthening the Company's competitiveness in domestic and foreign markets, which will enable new employment, growth in sales revenue, and growth in export revenue.<\/p>

Project Summary:<\/strong><\/p>

The project \u201eImproving the Competitiveness and Efficiency of \u0110URO \u0110AKOVI\u0106 MONTA\u017dA \u2013 IZOLAK through the Application of New ICT Solutions\u201c will address the problem of the inability for further growth and development due to insufficiently efficient business processes, which consequently leads to the company lagging behind the competition in the market. Through investments focused on modern information and communication technology solutions, business processes for production planning, production, assembly, and resource management will be improved, thus reducing costs and increasing revenue, which will result in increased competitiveness and faster company growth and development. The target groups whose interests the Project will directly contribute to are (1) the Beneficiary company; (2) the Beneficiary's partners and clients; and (3) employees. The Project is planned to be completed in October 2020.<\/p>

Project Goals and Expected Outcomes:<\/strong><\/p>

The Project's purpose (goal) is to strengthen market position, increase User competitiveness, and optimize and increase business efficiency through the introduction of new HW and SW ICT solutions. Project activities will result in the implementation of new ICT hardware and software solutions that contribute to the optimization and improvement of the company's key business processes, better or complete integration of business functions, and optimized and more efficient workflows, as well as improved visibility and credibility. Project implementation will directly contribute to the company's operations, optimization of business processes, and the use of modern ICT solutions will result in significant savings and increased User work efficiency and greater integration within the production business function.<\/p>
